Shri Vinod Nautiyal Ji
Shri Vinod Nautiyal Ji has been appointed as Deputy Advocate General, High Court, Uttarakhand from 27 May, 2017.
Shri Vinod Nautiyal was appointed as Information Commissioner, Uttarakhand from 2009 to 2014.
Shri Vinod Nautiyal started his career in 1979 as a lawyer at District Court, Pauri practicing in Civil, Criminal and Revenue side. He has also served as a part- time lecture in Law Department, HNB University, Pauri Campus. Shri Vinod Nautiyal has also been a member of Sansthagat Finance Corporation, Govt. of U.P. (1990-91); Senior Member District Consumer Forum, Pauri(1991-96) and Chairman, Shri Badrinath- Kedarnath Temple Committee(1998-2002).
After the formation of the new state of Uttarakhand, Shri Vinod Nautiyal has been practicing at Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital in Civil, Criminal and Service matter. Shri Vinod Nautiyal has also served as the Additional Standing Council, Govt. of India(2003-2005) and also as a Standing Council, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar and Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
Before being appointed as the Information Commissioner, Shri Vinod Nautiyal was serving as the Additional Advocate General, Govt. of Uttarakhand (08th January, 2008- 14th December, 2009).
Shri Vinod Nautiyal has worked as a Social Worker during Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag earthquakes. He has also formed various social organizations in Uttarakhand which are running successfully. He also helped in establishing various educational institutions in the remote hilly regions of Uttarakhand by way of gift and donations.
Shri Vinod Nautiyal has also received an award from the Govt. of India for Forestation activities in 1982.
